E-Safety

We here at Widford recognise that at school, where many children use digital technologies for the first time, that we have a major role in educating children in their safe use. Children will be taught safe and responsible behaviour as soon as they join the school in a way appropriate to their age group. Safety messages are embedded into all areas of the curriculum.

Please find websites and documentation which may help you and act as guidance.

Children are made aware of how to report an incident either in school or at home. They know that many sites have the CEOP symbol below allowing them to quickly access the CEOP website to report an incident.

We provide opportunities for parents/carers to receive e-safety education and information, to enable them to support their children in developing good e-safety behaviour.
